About Me

I grew up in Oxford and went on to study Italian and History of Art at university.

After graduating, I moved to Rome where I taught English before returning to the UK to work in publishing.
After spending twenty years living in London, my family and I moved to West Dorset, where we now live in a small village just outside Bridport.
For 15 years I taught Italian in Bridport, and during that time I found myself increasingly drawn towards counselling and therapeutic work. After thinking for many years about training as a counsellor, I began my studies at Iron Mill College in Exeter, where I qualified as an Integrative Counsellor.
Italy remains a great passion of mine, alongside gardening and spending time in nature. I strongly believe in the restorative and therapeutic value of both. I feel very fortunate to live close to the Dorset coast, where the landscape and sea offer space for reflection and calm.
